Try your cooking skills with Crab Imperial
Crab imperial showcases your lump crab meat, but complements lobster, shrimp, mushrooms and fish like a star-studded Dancing with the Stars! Lobster alone tastes buttery and succulent, but what about adding robust salty-sweet crab meat? Same true with the unique flavors of fresh delicacies embellished with a rich crab imperial. The preparation is easy!
Gather your ingredients.
1-pound Blue Crab Trading’s Premium Lump Crab Meat, ½ cup hummus, 1 tsp. sugar, 1 tsp. Old Bay. 1 tsp chopped parsley, 2 large egg whites (only) beaten, 1 squeezed lemon. Keep the tang from the mayonnaise and unnecessary fat from the yolk away from detracting from this crab meat’s fresh taste. Our flash-freezing process ensures both texture and taste remain in-tact, while giving you freedom with your cooking schedule.
Keep it pleasantly simple.
Whisk all ingredients other than the crab meat. Fold in the thawed crab meat and do so gently. You don’t want to break-up any impressive lumps. Bake in the oven in a ramekin or casserole dish at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes. This recipe serves 3 hungry diners so multiply the recipe accordingly. Serve on top of your selected favorite. Bon Appetit!
